What will you be doing
As Project Manager you will be part of one of CSM Middle East's most prestigious projects - working with Abu Dhabi Sports Council and other key Abu Dhabi stakeholders to create and deliver long term behaviour change program to get the population of the emirate active and to lead a more holistic, healthy and active lifestyle. In the words of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council General Secretary this is "the most important project for his organisation for the next 3-5 years".
Responsibilities include the planning and execution of events ensuring a successful delivery, assist with the procurement of venue, staff and project partners, manage events that meet strategic goals of the program
.

• Supplier procurement (Venue, Staffing); management and review processes
• Assist the planning of events, logistics and operational elements to ensure the safe and successful delivery of all events
• Ensure the productivity and develop of events to enhance participant experience and event delivery
• Coordinate and manage event staff for all initiatives (rosters, performance, briefings, reviews)
• Support the implementation of safety and risk management

Program Management

• Liaise with Senior Project Managers to set clear work schedules and tasks to plan out upcoming events and initiatives
• Plan, implement and review event operations and logistic processes
• Support the Senior PM's with stakeholder management
• Explore and on-board partners in conjunction with the operations and logistics of specific initiatives
• Assist the Senior PM's with administration requirements including, Event Plans, Event permit applications, staffing and contractor agreements.
• Manage event set up, deliver and ongoing reviews to ensure the delivery of a high level product
• Source operational staffing as required
• Liaise with event venue stakeholders management with regards to planning and delivery of the events
• Support the development of a divisional strategy to embed physical activity and holistic wellbeing through experience and across various platforms
• Regularly review the event statistics with the Senior PM's ensuring targets are kept on track and address any areas of concern.
• Proactively review all initiative operations to ensure they are being managed in the most effective way to produce high level participation

Evaluations, reporting and analysis

• Strong interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills
• Ability to keep track of all deliverables and deadlines, keep track of all ongoing projects, provide status reports
• Quality control - ensuring standards of service are consistent and of an expected quality
• Strong management to ensure clear lines of communication with event staff

Skills and Experience

• +7 years' experience in Project Management

(sports industry background)

• Excellent project management, organisation, communication and writing skills
• Effective leadership based on sound industry, market and customer knowledge.
• Superb organisation, planning and monitoring skills to deliver a successful event
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and manage relationships with appropriate internal and external parties.
• Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines

. Fluent in English, written and spoken

• Strong presentation skills, both in creating and writing presentations for third parties and delivering event updates in person.
• Creative outlook, with interest in community and public event scene.
• Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work and be based in Abu Dhabi
• Strong network within Abu Dhabi across health, wellness and fitness entities
• A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand
• The role requires someone that can be effective working within large project teams cross-functionally, is comfortable working outside of company offices (self motivated), is detail oriented and enjoys working within a collaborative team environment.
