To conduct field inspections, tests, and verifications of materials received at site, oversee fabrication and installation works by contractors for all mechanical works during execution, and supervise & witness testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover to the user department/client. Responsibilities:
Participate in the review & approval process of Inspection Test Plans (ITP). Review mechanical/process shop drawings and IFC drawings to ensure execution according to approved plans. Review as-built drawings and close-out documentation. Key Accountabilities:
Project Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor contractors'/consultants' performance in project execution. Provide timely reports on project status. Escalate issues/risks impacting project objectives and recommend corrective actions. Quality Control & Assurance:
Perform inspections as per approved Inspection & Test Plan. Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Maintain an up-to-date NCR log and report periodically. Policies & Procedures:
Follow relevant policies, processes, and SOPs to ensure controlled and consistent work. Health, Safety & Environment:
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to guarantee safety and legislative compliance. Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Certification from AWS-CWI, ASNT, or equivalent is advantageous. Minimum Experience:
4-5 years of experience as a piping/mechanical engineer or inspector. Additional Details:
