Job Overview
As Project Finance Specialist, you will support and lead the origination, structuring, and execution of complex project finance and export credit transactions. This includes working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as clients, ECAs, and legal advisors. You will play a key role in promoting sustainable finance initiatives, driving FAB's ESG commitments, and enhancing client offerings through innovative structuring and cross-product integration.
Key Responsibilities

• Originate and structure project finance and export credit transactions across sectors
• Lead deal execution from term sheet to documentation and financial close
• Structure ESG-compliant financing solutions and advise on green, social, and sustainability-linked loans
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, ECAs, banks, and advisory firms
• Prepare credit memos, green light documents, and waiver/amendment proposals for internal approvals
• Create detailed pitch decks, term sheets, financial models, and due diligence documentation
• Review and negotiate financing documents with internal and external legal counsel
• Support cross-selling of FAB's other products such as hedging, DCM, and agency services
• Monitor portfolio for refinancing, restructuring, and upsell opportunities
• Ensure timely league table submissions, deal highlights, and reporting

Financial Management

• Contribute to departmental revenue targets and identify performance gaps
• Support budget planning and performance reviews with data-driven insights

Governance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, ESG guidelines, Equator Principles, and market regulations
• Maintain high documentation and transaction processing standards across all project finance activities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• 7+ years in corporate or project finance, ideally in banking or advisory roles
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and utilities sector deal structures
• Familiarity with international PF markets, syndicated lending, and sustainable finance instruments
• Deep exposure to financial modeling, risk assessment, and LMA documentation
• Proven experience managing end-to-end loan structuring and legal negotiations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
