We are looking for qualified and experienced Textile Engineer (preferably female) with minimum Bachelor degree in the relevant filed who can perform following duties; \xc2\xb7 Conducts research and testing, to design and develop new textile materials and products and optimize existing textile materials and products as approved. \xc2\xb7 Researches and studies textile materials, including fibers, yarn and fabrics, to design quality products and determine new production techniques \xc2\xb7 Coordinate R&D efforts with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance regarding product and fabric feasibility and time frames for product development and maintain updates on project status utilizing approved project management tool. \xc2\xb7 Chooses and implements analysis and testing techniques used in the test characterization of materials and coordinates physical testing and evaluation of raw materials and finished products in order to establish comprehensive new product specifications and is also responsible to maintain current product specifications. \xc2\xb7 Evaluates competitors\xe2\x80\x99 products and materials, including patent information, to contribute to the establishment of benchmarks for new products. \xc2\xb7 Investigates and resolves work-in process problems and daily operating variances, troubleshooting for resolution. \xc2\xb7 Train team members on new products, including raw materials, manufacturing procedures, product specifications and properties, and applications related characteristics. \xc2\xb7 Support new business development efforts through leading application development, projects and customer contact. \xc2\xb7 Direct involvement and travel to existing and potential customers for design of new products. Interacts with Suppliers, Consultants, Customers, Clients, Hospitals, etc to support duties above Collaboration with other members of R&D personnel worldwide. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for product and material certifications / approvals by appropriate agency when required. \xc2\xb7 Focusing on understanding the impact of raw materials, processes and other external factors on the durability of final product performance. \xc2\xb7 Linking the chemical, physical and mechanical properties of fabric, textiles, and flexible composites to apparel performance. \xc2\xb7 Partnering with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop and utilize textile characterization and aging capabilities. \xc2\xb7 Leveraging forensic analysis tools to understand textile impact on product failure and durability risk. \xc2\xb7 Plan manufacturing order releases and follow-up with the suppliers. \xc2\xb7 Any other duties as assigned by Management.
