We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join the team of our esteemed client in the engineering and construction industry, based in Sharjah, UAE. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of engineering and construction projects, ensuring they meet the clients specifications, timelines, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of project engineering from initiation to completion.
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee procurement and management of materials, equipment, and resources needed for the project.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in managing project costs and timelines to deliver projects within scope and budget.
- Participate in regular project meetings to update on progress and resolve any challenges.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project engineering, ideally in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools, processes, and software.
- Familiarity with construction methods, standards, and regulations in the UAE.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- UAE driving license (preferred but not required).
