Project Engineer ( Temporary 6 to 9 months)

You will be working as Project Engineer (Temp), will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Services division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to independently execute service projects towards successful execution and closing of the assigned project/s by managing the customer independently and also coordinating with required functions involved. Same is based on the techno-commercial requirements of the contracts, customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations and by maintaining/ improving the bottom line. This position takes guidance from Project Operations Manager and Local Division Manager\xe2\x80\x93 ELSE. This position works in line with compliance regulation and the internal rules

Your responsibilities

• Independently taking care of day to day project activities for service projects, understanding the project requirements and checking and keeping incoming/outgoing project documentation
• Generating the regular project documentations such as project schedule, progress reports, FAT invitation, milestone documentation etc
• Coordinating with various internal depts. as per requirements of the project, keeping track of invoicing, variations, payment receipts, internal and externals goals etc
• Efficiently managing the project documentation, keeping track of the project milestones, handling the documentation for initiating the procurement action, further following-up and monitoring of timely receipt of material
• Keeping track of non-conformances and monitoring corrective actions to control costs and schedules throughout the project lifecycle and keeping project manager informed on the major issues / changes
• Helping project manager for handling commercial documentation and helping engineering for compliance statement
• Keeping track of changes / modification in the project, attending the customer meetings as per requirement and project reviewing with operations manager and controller for large modification projects

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum experience of 2-3 years
• Good knowledge of LV swgr & MV Swicthgear systems, LV components, VFD\xe2\x80\x99s, softstarters, PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, REF relays project commercial matters
• Good in computing- MS Office, MS project, SAP etc
• Fluency in English language is mandatory
