Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for

metal structures or components

. Supervise and manage

site installation work

related to wire mesh, steel fences, handrails, gratings, structural supports, etc. Coordinate with internal drafting/design team to ensure drawings match

site conditions

; manage revisions and as-built drawings. Attend site meetings with clients, main contractors, and consultants to discuss drawings, site readiness, technical clarifications. Plan and monitor daily site activities; assign work to site supervisors / installation crews; track progress vs project timeline. Resolve on-site technical issues, dimensional mismatches, or drawing discrepancies. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards on site. Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and communicate updates to the project manager. Assist in preparation of method statements, site inspections, and material submittals. Coordinate with procurement/logistics for delivery of materials and tools to the site. Support in handover documentation: inspection requests (IRs), as-built drawings, snag list closures, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

or related field.

Arabic and English

is mandatory.

3-6 years

of experience in

site engineering

for

metal work subcontracting

(wire mesh, fencing, steel structures, etc.). Ability to read and interpret

technical drawings and site layouts

for metal installations. Familiar with tools, hardware, and fixing techniques used in structural metalwork. Working knowledge of

AutoCAD

and MS Office (Excel, Word). Strong site coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of UAE site work practices and safety regulations is a strong advantage. Ability to manage multiple installation teams and coordinate across different project sites.
