We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic

Project Engineer

with a

minimum of 8 years of experience

in the oil & gas sector. The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of

project execution across the full lifecycle -- from design and engineering to construction and commissioning

.

who can

independently manage projects

, resolve technical challenges, and provide strong support to cross-functional teams. The role may involve

site visits

, so previous field experience is

highly desirable

.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept to construction.

Prepare and review project scope, schedules, deliverables, and technical documentation.

Interface with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes and regulations.

Perform site visits to support construction, installation, and commissioning activities.

Lead or support technical reviews, quality checks, and problem resolution during all phases of the project.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or relevant Engineering discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience

in the

oil & gas industry

, with exposure to both

engineering and construction phases

.

Strong knowledge of

project lifecycle management

and multi-discipline coordination.

Demonstrated ability to

independently manage engineering deliverables and teams

.

Familiarity with relevant

software tools

such as MS Project, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar.

Sound understanding of

industry codes and standards

(e.g., API, ASME, ISO, IEC).

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in EPC or FEED project environments.

PMP certification or similar project management credential.

Field/site supervision and commissioning support experience.
