Education / Qualifications
Mandatory
Qualified Electrical, Mechanical or Temperature Control (Apprenticeship, HNC, ONC, NVQ3 or equivalent)
5 years engineering experience
Desirable
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Professional skills / experience
Min 3 years - Supervisory/ Site Lead experience (Customer Facing)
Relevant and solid technical background
Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Industrial Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC Equipment
Implementation of on-site QHSE standards
Confident in managing small to medium size teams directly
Computer literate - competent user of MS Office software packages
Able to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively
Works well and calmly under pressure.
Commercial awareness/ understanding
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the client, the team, and internal stakeholders

Your key responsibilities:

Lead on-site teams effectively, to ensure smooth execution of assigned work scopes
Represent Aggreko as a responsible / appointed person on-site and manage a team of Aggreko staff and contractors to deliver projects.
Manage the delivery, installation, operations, and demobilization of aggreko projects/work scopes in line with project schedule
Regular liaise with the Depot Project Manager on all aspects
Execute projects inline with the design provided.
Notify the project manager and client of any variation from design, provide "as built drawings" a required
Assist in site visits/project design and review to ensure our offering matches the customer's specific needs or contract requirements.
Responsible for safe Site installation, commissioning, and the handover of Aggreko packages adhering to aggreko standards/ customer standards as required
Attend regular progress meetings with the customer and all other suppliers, inform attendees on planned tasks.
Day to day leadership of assigned teams, set daily work plans in accordance with the project plans, equipment and man-power resources allocated by the Operations team.
Work with the customer and the Depot Project Manager to identify areas of cost saving and or operational improvements.
Adherence to pre-agreed budgets targets, early identification of potential overruns or overspend.
Sales Support
Provide technical support as required to ensure the success of a Project, Attend Site Visits & Technical meetings as assigned by the Depot Project Manager.
