The Jazan IGCC is the world's largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

The Role:

Requirements of the Role: Works with Engineering to develop scope, cost and schedule of Projects during the development phases. Prepares Project Execution Plans in support of the project approval process. Reports to the Project Manager, as Project Engineer on assigned projects during Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phases of the project. Coordinate with company Engineers and Contractor Engineers & designers. Executes assigned work in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and applicable Project Procedures and Standards. Ensures that the work follows applicable HSE, Quality and financial standards and procedures at all times. Manages the Engineering Contractor during design and procurement phase. Delivers value through the key review stages including HAZOP and Constructability. Manages Procurement activities by the Engineering Contractor and internal departments in accordance with the agreed scope of work of the project. Understands the technical content of Process, Mechanical and other Engineering documents. Coordinates reviews of the documents and ensures compliance with the overall objectives of the project and needs of the business. Manages the interfaces between the various parties on the project including Engineering, Contractors, Vendors, Operations, HSE and Quality. Leads the planning and execution of the field work in conjunction with the Construction Management, Quality Management and HSE teams as well as Contractors and Vendors. Provides input to the project controls team for cost and schedule reporting. Ensures that records are managed in the electronic filing system as required by the company procedures. Ensure that all scope changes are properly raised and recorded to cover manhours, costs and schedule impacts and coordinate on review of change order documents.

PART 2: Candidate Requirements Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Work Experience:

Essential Knowledge & Experience: Must have strong leadership and multi-discipline coordination skills and be able to plan work logically. Hardworking, proactive and possesses teamwork attitude with leadership and problem-solving skills. Desired Knowledge & Experience: Proficient with Project Management and Business processes including planning, cost estimation, cost control, contract management and procurement, Management of Change, Control of Work, Quality Management Systems and EHS management systems. Experience in Mechanically biased projects during design, construction, pre-commissioning and testing. Key Skills: Good English communication skills. Competent in using MS word, Excel and PowerPoint applications Education & Certifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with Mechanical background. Minimum 7+ years of experience in Project Engineering in oil and gas or process industry. Commissioning, Start-Up and Brownfield experience preferred.
