About the Job - project engineer \xe2\x80\x93 interior designing & fit out Roles and Responsibilities: Review the Scope of work in the tender documents and support the manager in submitting the commercial and technical proposal. Supervise the interior designers and make them understand the project requirements. Develop comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, resource allocation, and procurement strategies. Identify and select suitable suppliers, vendors, and contractors for the procurement of materials. Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials within budgetary constraints. Oversee the execution of interior design and fitout projects, events and exhibitions, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards. Monitor project budgets, including cost estimates, expenditures, and variations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications until finishing & handover of the project. Establish and enforce quality control processes to meet industry standards in Interior Design and fitout projects, event/exhibition Services. Identify potential risks and implement appropriate safety measures to maintain a safe working environment for internal and external stakeholders involved while executing the required work.in. Competencies: Candidate should preferably possess Bachelor\'s degree in interior design, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field. At least 8 to 9 years of experience in managing interior design and fitout projects. Proven experience in managing interior design and fitout projects, specifically for events and exhibitions. Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and quality. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
