We are seeking a competent and results-driven

Project Engineer - Electrical (Fit-Out)

to support the execution of electrical fit-out works on ongoing projects in Qatar. The role involves site supervision, coordination, documentation, and ensuring electrical installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Execution & Coordination

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and scope prior to site mobilization. Prepare material take-offs for electrical works based on approved drawings. Coordinate with the Project Manager, client representatives, and head office to ensure correct execution of electrical installations. Support preparation of mobilization and demobilization documentation.

Site Supervision

Manage day-to-day site activities related to electrical installation works. Supervise Foremen and Electricians to ensure productivity, safety, and quality compliance. Monitor work progress and ensure activities are carried out as per approved method statements and schedules. Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid clashes and delays.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. Implement health, safety, and quality requirements on site always. Assist in inspections, testing, and rectification of electrical works as required.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for ongoing site activities. Prepare method statements for electrical installation activities. Maintain accurate site records, material usage logs, and inspection documentation.

Skills and Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out construction processes and sequencing. Strong commercial awareness with hands-on knowledge of prices, rates, and contract procedures. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization abilities. Proficient in MS Office, spreadsheets, databases, and project planning tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical fit-out projects. Experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality interior fit-out projects is preferred. Middle East experience (Qatar preferred) is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical fit-out systems including lighting, power, containment, and ELV coordination. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with method statements, material submittals, and site documentation. Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month

Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
