WINTER Refrigeration is seeking a qualified and motivated

Project Engineer

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring engineering projects while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and monitor mechanical engineering activities in line with approved project programs and milestones. Review and interpret mechanical project specifications, IFC drawings, P&IDs, layouts, BOQs, and technical schedules. Coordinate mechanical engineering deliverables with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. Monitor procurement processes, review vendor technical submissions, and track manufacturing and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, PED, and project-specific requirements. Identify design discrepancies, technical risks, and constructability issues; propose engineering solutions and corrective actions. Support site activities including installation, pressure testing, flushing, leak testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. Prepare and review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and as-built documentation. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure mechanical works meet approved quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 4+ years of project engineering experience in mechanical, MEP, industrial refrigeration, or EPC projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including piping networks, compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, heat exchangers, and pressure equipment. Proven ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, isometrics, and mechanical layouts. Proficient in AutoCAD for reviewing and coordinating mechanical drawings. Working knowledge of project management tools, engineering workflows, and document control systems. Familiarity with mechanical calculations, material specifications, and equipment selection. Solid understanding of relevant international mechanical standards and codes (ASME, ASTM, API, PED). Strong technical documentation, reporting, and coordination skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
