Take full responsibility for assigned projects from handover to completion.
Prepare project execution plans, work schedules, and manpower deployment plans.
Coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth and timely progress.
Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
2. Site Coordination & Supervision
Conduct site visits, measurements, and technical assessments.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors for site activities.
Provide clear instructions to site supervisors, team leaders, and technicians.
Monitor workmanship quality, productivity, and safety compliance on site.
3. Technical & Documentation Control
Review architectural and shop drawings related to glass partitions, doors, and fittings.
Coordinate preparation and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and samples.
Prepare and submit
Material Request Forms (MRF)
based on site requirements.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
4. Material & Procurement Coordination
Forecast material requirements and submit MRFs on time.
Coordinate with procurement for material ordering, delivery schedules, and follow-ups.
Ensure materials delivered to site match approved specifications and quantities.
Avoid site delays due to material shortages or incorrect deliveries.
5. Quality Control & Safety
Ensure installation quality meets company standards and client expectations.
Conduct inspections during and after installation works.
Identify snags, coordinate rectification, and ensure timely closure.
Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and safe work practices on site.
6. Reporting & Communication
Submit daily and weekly site progress reports to Operations Manager.
Report issues, delays, and risks with proposed corrective actions.
Maintain proper project records including drawings, approvals, reports, and correspondence.
7. Project Completion & Handover
Coordinate final inspections with clients/consultants.
Ensure all snags are cleared before handover.
Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents.
Support accounts team for project close-out and payment follow-ups if required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum
3-6 years of experience
in
glass partitions, glass doors, aluminum & glass works
, or interior fit-out projects.
Strong understanding of glass systems, fittings, profiles, and installation methods.
Experience in UAE projects preferred.
