The Project Engineer is the key performers of the Shiptech operations including Fabrication, Painting, Mechanical servicing, Fit-out works carried in compliance to the client and code requirements along within Company Policy and Program.
Responsibilities
:
It is the responsibility of the Project Engineer to ensure that the operations is been continued and performed by following all the requirements and met in particular to Client Specifications, International Code books, Internal and External QHSE policies,
Ensure that the Shiptech Operation requirements are prepared for mobilizing them (Resources, Materials, personnel & Consumables etc.) for job execution,
Mandate to follow and completed the goals set by management, Plan and request to organize resources, and to put in place the required structures for implementing the agreed strategy;
Monitor the resources performance and provide the feedback to the Project manager,
Maintain and monitor the production hours, materials budget targets for each job and report to Project manager;
Liaise with Store In-charge & Purchase team to make sure the sufficient materials are keep in stock, if not order the items to maintain the production requirements to complete the task,
Ensure and maintain that our QMS program is been followed in all the operational activity,
Attend the production meeting along with Project Manager and Operation Manager and other HOD and plan the shift activity and target for completion,
Reporting to Project Manager and assist in all the task
Participate in the Daily Tool-box talk and provide the inputs based on the task,
Liaise with QA/QC & HSE team to provide support to maintain the QHSE and company policy,
Make sure all the team members follow the HSE requirements during the work execution and report if any violations immediately
Complete supervision of production and subcontracting team(if applicable),
Coordinate with Subcontractors and Supplier to make sure the services and supports are received on time in way of completed the job on time,
Coordinate with Vessel representatives and workshop team for submission and get approval for the conditional/Repair suggestion report to proceed further,
Coordinate with team members of each department and collect the daily job progress details
Prepare and submit the relevant documents(Work Completion, Final Inspection reports etc.) to client for approval during job completion and update the project manager
Essential
Diploma or Degree Graduate with Min.1 years' experience in this field
Well verse in company policies and department procedures, Work instructions
Good knowledge of work and technically sound in the field of Mechanical, Fabrication, Piping & Painting
Must work individually with minimal supervision
Good presence of mind and decision making
Must have good in communication skills in way of engaging between work team and management team
Good English Knowledge and communication
Desirable
Certification in Project Management(PMP)
Certification in OEM courses
Certification in Safety training certifications
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
