Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

Project Engineer

to support the Project Manager in executing a residential building project in

International City, Dubai

. The ideal candidate must have substantial

UAE experience

, hands-on expertise in

site supervision

, and familiarity with

Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations

.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision:

Assist the Project Manager in supervising daily construction activities, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

Design & Drawing Coordination:

Review and verify

shop drawings, IFC drawings, and design revisions

, ensuring proper implementation on site.

Material & Equipment Management:

Coordinate procurement, approval, and delivery of materials; track inventory and ensure timely availability for construction activities.

Quality Control:

Implement

QA/QC procedures

, inspect workmanship, and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and

DM regulations

.

Safety & HSE Compliance:

Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to

safety standards

, report hazards, and assist in conducting toolbox talks.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain daily progress reports, site diaries, and coordinate submission of technical reports to the Project Manager.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Technical Support:

Provide guidance to site teams on construction methodologies, problem-solving, and application of engineering principles.

Progress Monitoring:

Track project milestones, prepare updates, and support the Project Manager in schedule management and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

(mandatory).

10 years total experience

, with

7-8 years in UAE

construction projects.

Familiarity with

Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, building codes, and approval processes

.

Experience with

residential or commercial building projects

, preferably mid- to high-rise.

Strong knowledge of

construction methods, materials, and site management

.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software (Primavera/MS Project preferred).

UAE driving license preferred.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
