Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and inspect contractor's construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Identify non-conformances, issue site instructions or NCRs, and verify corrective actions.

- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve site issues efficiently.

- Ensure all works adhere to local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

- Review and verify construction documents, checklists, and material submittals for compliance. ?

- Monitor site safety practices and report unsafe conditions

- Verify implementation of all quality control procedures and checklists on site.

- Provide daily updates to the Resident Engineer, documenting activities, progress, and issues.

- Witness and verify key construction activities and tests such as concrete pouring, rebar fixing, excavation, and material testing.

- Inspect contractor-supplied materials upon delivery, confirming conformity with approved submittals and specifications before use.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Civil Inspector with a consultant on building or high-rise projects

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

- Valid UAE driving license and own car (required)

- Proficient in MS Office applications.

- Good communication and reporting skills

- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and effectively communicate site issues.
