Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support and oversee civil construction projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, on-site project coordination skills, and the ability to ensure timely execution while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects in line with contract specifications, timelines, and budgets.

- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Prepare and review engineering drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and method statements.

- Monitor project progress and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

- Manage procurement coordination for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

- Resolve technical and operational issues arising on-site and provide engineering solutions.

- Track project costs, prepare progress reports, and support billing/certification documentation.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory and company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports.

- Support project close-out activities, including final inspections and handover documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects (commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure).

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, quality standards, and safety regulations.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.

- Experience in handling site coordination, documentation, and subcontractor management.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
