Project Engineer

to join our team and oversee the successful execution of site works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all site execution activities in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and client deadlines. Monitor project costs, quality, and progress, and prepare claims and invoices for clients. Develop daily, weekly, and monthly work plans to achieve project milestones. Finalize, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines and quality standards. Attend and lead meetings with clients, main contractors, and consultants to present project progress. Resolve technical issues related to drawings in consultation with consultants and main contractors. Coordinate and obtain approvals from consultants and Dubai Municipality for inspections and structural works. Oversee post-tensioning activities and ensure adherence to engineering standards. Control project expenses and implement effective cost management strategies. Prepare and defend claims, variations, and project-related documentation. Verify completed work and arrange timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material requirements, and project cost estimations. Conduct site inspections for QA/QC issues, ensuring timely solutions and compliance with quality standards. Maintain documentation including checklists, inspection reports, audit reports, NOCs, and test results. Prepare and present project status reports for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with consultants (structural, architectural, plumbing, landscaping) for drawing updates and discrepancies. Review and approve contractor submittals, RFIs, and material approvals, providing quick resolutions where needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry (UAE experience preferred). Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, QA/QC standards, and Dubai Municipality regulations. Excellent project planning, organizational, and cost control skills. Ability to handle subcontractor management, inspections, and client coordination. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and construction project management software.
