Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Supporting the design, assembly, and integration of 3D printing systems, prototypes, and related technologies. Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation required for project execution. Coordinating with cross-functional teams (designers, engineers, technicians, and vendors) to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing solutions to avoid delays or quality issues. Assisting in testing, troubleshooting, and validating mechanical, electrical, and software components in mechatronics or 3D printing systems. Managing procurement activities, supplier coordination, and resource allocation for project requirements. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies throughout project execution. Preparing regular project reports, updates, and presentations for management and clients. Researching and recommending new technologies or process improvements to enhance project efficiency and innovation. Contributing to creative problem-solving and supporting the integration of advanced manufacturing techniques into project workflows.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage procurement activities and supplier coordination. Familiarity with 3D printing technologies, CNC machining, or prototyping. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar). Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration in mechatronics systems. Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong understanding of engineering documentation, technical drawings, and specifications. Hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical/electrical systems with the ability to implement innovative solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
