Project Engineer Job Summary: The Project Engineer will manage the technical and engineering aspects of signage projects from award to completion. This role acts as the key liaison between the client, sales team, and production floor, ensuring the project is executed according to design and specification. Key Responsibilities:
Review all project documentation, including designs, engineering drawings, and client specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
Develop project schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor progress.
Provide technical support and clarification to the production and installation teams.
Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during fabrication or installation.
Manage project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and as-built drawings.
Conduct site visits for surveys and to supervise installations.
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
Communicate project status updates to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial).
Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience, preferably in the signage, construction, or metal fabrication industry.
Strong understanding of structural, electrical, and fabrication principles as they apply to signage.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software is essential.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
