Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will serve as the primary representative of the Client, ensuring the successful execution of construction and engineering projects. Your role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure. You will be responsible for safeguarding the Client's interests by ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Objectives of the Role:

Ensure effective collaboration between stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and suppliers, to achieve project goals. Act as the Client's technical advisor, reviewing designs, resolving engineering issues, and ensuring adherence to project specifications. Monitor and control project progress, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed quality standards while adhering to timelines. Proactively identify and manage risks to prevent project delays and cost overruns.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day project activities, acting as a liaison between the Client and the project team. Evaluate technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure they align with project requirements. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality compliance. Prepare regular reports on project status, including progress updates, financial summaries, and risk assessments. Address Client concerns and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues promptly. Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover processes to ensure Client satisfaction. Review contractor invoices, variations, and change orders to ensure they align with agreed terms. Manage and monitor all type of CAPEX projects for all our owner Assets. Review Tender & evaluate the technical proposals to ensure they meet the project specifications, design intent and performance criteria.

This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Proven experience (5- 8 years) in

Hospitality projects, interior fitouts

, refurbishments /renovations and preferably on the Client side. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

- Ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively with contractors and consultants.

Attention to Detail

- Focused on precision in reviewing designs and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Negotiation

- Skilled in handling contracts, resolving disputes, and managing client expectations.

Others:

UAE driving license + car is a must.
