Qualification:

Civil Engineering Degree Minimum 7 years of Experience in Dubai - preferably with High Rise Projects - REQUIRED Speak and Converse Arabic Language is a MUST Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Competent in conflict and crisis management Field Construction Management
Should have good experience with authorities requirements DDA, DHRE, Trakhees, Nakheel

Responsibilities:

Perform construction supervision for a major construction activities. Delegating tasks and training to the site site engineers, foremans & charge hands Work alongside the project team, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers coordinate all interfaces between the different subcontractors working on and adjacent to the project site. Demonstrate proactive awareness and reporting of overall progress of the works, work closely alongside the contractor(s) to mitigate against programme issues Provides assistance and support to the project team in technical matters, including constructability, procurement and shop drawings. Assist with Reviews and analysis of all claims submitted by the Contractor Ensure quality of work through implementing inspection procedures, initiate inspection and meeting with authorities during inspection. Monitoring of permits/noc's Investigate problems and unforeseen conditions. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolved emerging ones Prepare regular reports of construction activities and follow look ahead plan to achieve the target programme. Participate in regular project progress meetings. Materials following up with storekeeper. Taking off quantity from drawings. Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available. Maintain good quality of work. Carrying out the job with proper sequence and strictly follow the method statement. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Adopts a fair and reasonable approach in dealing with contractual disputes; Recognizes and shows appreciation of individual staff accomplishments Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects. Other duties as assigned and extend site duties as per site requirements
