Project Engineer
Job Description
1. Managing parts of construction projects. 2. Attend site meetings and resolve technical/ operational issues independently. 3. Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials. 4. Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager. 5. Liaise with sub-contractors and consultants for the execution of works. 6. Undertaking surveys, setting out sites. 7. Maintain and interpret site drawings, topographical drawings, construction drawings and schedules. 8. Supervising contracted staff. 9. Overseeing building work. Ensuring teams are working correctly as per the contract drawings and specifications. 10. Providing technical advice and solving problems on site. 11. Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/ timescales. 12. Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork. 13. Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to. 14. Should be well versed with MS. office and Autocad software 15. Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in Interior fit out company is required. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
