Project Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a proven track record in delivering projects on time and within scope. The role requires close collaboration with contractors, consultants, and government bodies to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review project plans, drawings, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Manage regular site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure progress is aligned with the project timeline. Coordinate effectively with contractors, architects, consultants, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction phases. Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and project status updates for stakeholders. Monitor resource allocation and ensure project milestones are met within budget and scope.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role, preferably in Qatar or the GCC region. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations in Qatar. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. UPDA certification is a preferable.
