Project Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a proven track record in delivering projects on time and within scope. The role requires close collaboration with contractors, consultants, and government bodies to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and interpret project plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. Monitor daily site operations and construction progress to ensure alignment with project timelines. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations. Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, architects, consultants, and relevant government agencies. Identify and resolve any technical issues or project risks that may arise during construction. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and company policies. Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to management. Assist in cost estimation, resource planning, and procurement processes as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, , preferably in Qatar. Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes. Proficient in project management tools and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera). UPDA Certification is preferable. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
