The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and executing facade projects, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and technically sound solutions that meet client expectations and project requirements. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent coordination skills, and a solid understanding of facade systems and project delivery processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, and project managers to fully understand project scope and objectives.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to determine the most suitable facade systems for each project.
Prepare detailed design proposals, including schematic drawings, specifications, and material selections.
Coordinate with internal teams (design, engineering, procurement, and production) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee the preparation of construction documents such as shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation manuals.
Perform on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Provide technical support to installation teams during the execution phase.
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to achieve milestones and deliverables on time.
Act as a primary liaison with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical queries and project-related concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in facade engineering to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline (Master's is a plus).
Proven experience in facade engineering, focusing on design, technical analysis, and execution of facade systems.
Strong technical proficiency in CAD software, BIM tools, and other facade engineering applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
Solid project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and risk management.
Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and facade industry standards.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certification systems is an advantage.
Flexibility to visit project sites and attend meetings as required.
