Job Description

We are looking for Project Engineer for our MEP Company in Dubai. Candidate should have minimum 5 years' experience in the MEP field. As a MEP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of fit out projects and construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing design, installation, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role demands strong project management skills, technical expertise, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning, design, and execution of MEP systems.

2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.

3. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of MEP installations.

5. Provide technical guidance on sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions.

6. Resolve technical issues and challenges in a proactive and efficient manner.

7. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations relevant to MEP systems.

8. Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the MEP team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

2. Proven experience (5 +years) in MEP fit out project

3. UAE/Middle East Experience is mandatory

4. In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards.

5. Strong project management and leadership skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

7. Proficient experience in interpreting and reviewing drawings and specifications, with a keen eye for detail.

8. Familiarity with contracts and a proven track record of effectively managing contractual obligations in MEP projects.

9. Previous involvement in interior fit out projects such as offices, hotels etc demonstrating expertise in coordinating MEP systems within interior design specifications.

10. Strong negotiation skills for contract management and vendor relationships.
