Project Engineer
Job Description
- Acting as the main technical adviser on site for subcontractors, foremen and crafts people.
- Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design and specification.
- Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations.
- liaising with consultants and their representatives (engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
- Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
- Preparing reports as required.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related field.
Backround:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in roads and highways design and construction preferably in the UAE or GCC. Proven track record in multidisciplinary project environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills. Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, InRoads, MX Road, MicroStation).

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
