Position Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise interior and marine fit-out projects--owning quality, timeline, cost, and stakeholder coordination from kickoff to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

Develop schedules, look-ahead plans, and resource allocations; review drawings/BOQs/specs; track progress and report to the Project Manager.

Site Supervision:

Lead daily site activities; enforce HSE; coordinate in-house teams, subcontractors, and suppliers; resolve technical/site issues promptly.

Quality & Compliance:

Implement QA/QC procedures; verify materials/workmanship; manage inspections, snag lists, and final handover documentation.

Cost & Resources:

Support estimates and budgets; monitor variations; optimize manpower/equipment/material use; maintain logs (RFI, MIR, IR).

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as point of contact for clients/consultants; attend progress meetings; issue MOMs and weekly reports; maintain clear documentation.

Approvals & Permits:

Assist with authority/consultant approvals, method statements, risk assessments, shop drawings, and as-builts.
Requirements

Bachelor's in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3-5 years' UAE/GCC experience in interiors/fit-out/marine projects. Strong knowledge of interior fit-out methods, materials, joinery/metal works, and MEP coordination. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; exposure to Primavera/MS Project is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; deadline-driven. Valid UAE driving license preferred.
