Project Engineer / Construction Manager (Building Project)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

7-10 years

of proven experience in project engineering or construction management of

building projects

(structural steel/RC, envelope, base-build interiors, and MEP interfaces). Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and

HSE

standards. Proficient in project management software/tools (e.g., Primavera/MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple zones/trades simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage

building construction

from inception to completion: substructure, superstructure (RC/steel), facade/roofing, base-build interiors, external works. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet program, cost, quality, and HSE targets. Develop and maintain

project schedules and budgets

; track procurement and long-lead items (facade, elevators/escalators, switchgear, AHUs). Conduct site inspections, implement ITPs/QA/QC, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and authority requirements. Resolve issues/conflicts, manage risks, and drive recovery plans to protect milestones and handover.
