Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with a preferable Certificate in Project Management

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing engineering projects from initiation to completion. This role involves overseeing project execution, preparing technical and commercial documents, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project and contract management with strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end project activities, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other related documentation. Coordinate and supervise multidisciplinary project teams to ensure effective collaboration and execution. Review project designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance. Utilize project management and design software such as AutoCAD and project planning tools. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on status, performance, and any variances. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential project challenges. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices. Foster strong communication with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met. Lead, mentor, and guide junior engineers and site staff to maintain high performance standards.
