Job Summary:

The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and fit-out projects from initiation to handover. The role involves technical oversight, site coordination, quality control, and communication between the office, site team, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all technical aspects of construction and fit-out projects.

Review IFC

(Issued for Construction) drawings, identify discrepancies, and raise RFIs as necessary. Supervise site works to ensure

compliance with project specifications,

quality standards, and timelines. Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress. Prepare and submit

method statements, material submittals, and work inspection requests (WIRs)

. Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve site-related technical issues. Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Support in procurement by verifying technical specifications and coordinating material deliveries. Attend site meetings,

prepare reports

, and document project updates. Ensure project documentation is properly managed and updated.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (depending on discipline). 4-7 years of experience in construction or fit-out project execution within the UAE or GCC. Sound knowledge of construction procedures, authority regulations, and industry standards. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

UAE driving license is preferred. Strong leadership and coordination abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
