Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced

Project Director

to lead and oversee the successful execution of a bridge construction project as part of the Etihad Rail network in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have

15 to 20 years of UAE experience

, with

extensive involvement in Etihad Rail or similar large-scale infrastructure projects

. A strong engineering and project management background is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and direction for the bridge construction project under the Etihad Rail program. Ensure project execution meets contractual requirements, schedule, quality standards, and cost targets. Act as the primary point of contact with Etihad Rail and relevant stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination and communication. Develop and manage project execution plans, budgets, and risk management strategies. Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and consultants. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project phases. Monitor and report project performance to senior management and client representatives. Resolve technical and operational challenges proactively to maintain project momentum. Oversee contract administration, claims management, and commercial aspects of the project. Promote a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement on site.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

15-20 years of UAE experience

in major infrastructure projects, particularly

Etihad Rail

or similar government-led transport infrastructure. Proven track record in leading large-scale

bridge construction

projects within the rail or infrastructure sector. In-depth knowledge of project management tools, contract administration (FIDIC knowledge is a plus), and construction methodologies. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dirham projects from initiation to completion. Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, local authorities, and environmental standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or equivalent project management certification. Experience working with RTA, Etihad Rail, and other major UAE government infrastructure entities. Previous experience with design & build or EPC contracts is an advantage.
