Project Coordinator (Engineering Consultancy)
Position Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic engineering consultancy team. In this pivotal role, you will be the central hub of communication and coordination, ensuring the seamless execution of projects from conception to completion. Direct experience within an engineering consultancy environment is mandatory.
You will work closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to support planning, documentation, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination & Communication:
  • Act as the primary liaison between consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities.
  • Facilitate smooth communication across all project teams (site and office).
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute detailed minutes with clear action items.
  • Project Support & Tracking:
  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying potential delays.
  • Track the progress of submissions, approvals, and all authority-related processes.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain all critical project documentation (reports, drawings, correspondence, permits).
  • Manage document control systems, ensuring version control and distribution.
  • Generate regular progress reports and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Follow up on action items from meetings and ensure timely completion.
  • Support the project team with logistics, resource scheduling, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure project files are audit-ready and comply with company quality management systems.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within an engineering consultancy.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project or similar scheduling software.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documents is a strong advantage.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Personal Attributes:

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with BIM/CDE platforms (e.g., Revit, ACC, Aconex).
