Job Title: Project Controls Manager

Role Context:

· The Project controls manager will operate as a lead individual on program, managing the controls group for both projects. Provides the tools and systems necessary to manage effectively and proactively, control, and report on cost and schedule for concurrent projects throughout the organization. Services include planning cost and schedule (work breakdown structure) metrics and tools, collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended labour hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontract work), tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analysing (earned value, productivity, and risk analyses), and reporting. · Identifies and tracks all changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management. Integrates cost and schedule data and reporting with the company's accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.

You'll be: · Supervise and co-ordinate the disciplines under their control during the project set-up phase with special care being taken to o the consistency of the Work breakdown structure, coding structure and engineering activities on the project; o correct application of software programs & systems and ensuring the linking of these systems, respectively the linking with other Worley systems; o the preparation and approval of the control budget for the project; o the preparation through the different levels of the planning and scheduling system; and o the defining and setting up of the 'Document management system'. · Ensure adherence to adequate procedures for Project control and Progress measurement as laid down in the Project execution and quality plan. · Ensure that a project 'Filing and retention system' is set-up in accordance with the Worley Procedures and Client's requirements. · Co-ordinate and prepare monthly 'Progress Reports'. · Ensure the timely issue of cost reports, planning and scheduling reports, document control reports, progress measure reports, etc relating to the Project control function.

You'll have: · Knowledgeable in the establishment and application of project controls management systems, processes, and tools · Well-developed technical and practical skills and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. · Solid technical, practical and leadership experience in the relevant discipline, including experience in senior construction management positions and construction project management. · A thorough understanding of industrial construction environment and proven supervisory experience in multi-disciplinary teams. · Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge in relevant software · Recognised Site discipline background · Fully conversant with Project Management Systems with extensive knowledge of Project Construction practices and procedures
