Position Overview
The Project Controls Analyst role at AECOM Dubai supports large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects by managing cost control, financial analysis, and contract reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost control systems including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and performance indicators to identify risks and recommend corrective actions
• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed cost and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Review and audit contractor and consultant invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and correct contractual alignment
• Maintain structured records of payments, variations, contract amendments, and reimbursable expenses
• Support project managers with cost estimates, budget updates, and financial planning inputs
• Participate in regular project review meetings and provide financial insights to support management decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient project execution and financial performance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project controls and reporting efficiency

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project controls, cost analysis, or financial reporting within a project environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools
• Working knowledge of project scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, cost control, and invoice auditing
• Experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment
