Liberal Construction, LLC has an opportunity for a Project Control Specialist/Scheduler position at our Bahrain location. The selected candidate will create and maintain project schedules. It will also provide schedule coordination with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and customers. Essential duties and responsibilities Provide critical path analysis, identify problem areas, and create work-around solutions. Timely create and maintain program and project schedules necessary to properly plan work. Assist with establishing project budgets from proposal estimate, track committed costs, and forecast remaining costs for engineering, equipment procurement, and construction sub-contracts. Responsible for project and program contingency planning. Prepare and submit monthly reports for the internal management team. Advises team on matters affecting project success, schedule, and cost impacts, and develops project recovery plans when needed. Part of the project management team responsible for meeting project deadlines. Assist with identifying out-of-scope work items and creating change order requests to be presented to the client, including estimated cost and schedule impacts. Within the area of responsibility, consistently identifies potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner, analyzes the issues using all appropriate resources, develops alternatives, and arrives at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities. Completely own comprehensive integrated schedule required for planning and scheduling all facility functions. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Education or experience Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or other related field Experience working as Scheduler/Surveyor with USACE, NAVFAC, and US Government projects is required. Proficiency in the use of Primavera P6 scheduling software Familiar with US government contracts and schedules Prior experience in pre contract, and post-construction required Knowledge of construction scheduling, equipment, and methods required Prior experience in Procore CMS Excellent written and verbal communications kills High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
