Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION * Maintain financial control over security systems and managed services projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting.

• Monitor project costs, commitments, variations, and margins to ensure profitability.
• Prepare monthly project financial reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on cost control, revenue recognition, and project performance.
• Manage project billing, including progress invoices, AMC billing, variations, and final accounts.
• Track contract values, change orders, and ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS.
• Monitor cash flow, aging, and follow up on receivables related to projects and service contracts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to projects.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and UAE VAT regulations.
• Assist internal and external audits by providing project financial documentation.

REQUIREMENTS * Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-6 years experience as a Project Accountant within security systems, engineering services, MEP, ELV, ICT, or managed services environments.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, contract-based billing, AMC contracts, service revenue, and project milestones.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems with advanced MS Excel skills.
• Sound understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is an advantage.
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control, ELV, BMS, ICT, or integrated security projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
