JOB DESCRIPTION
Aquashi is looking for an Programmer/ Electronics engineer with an excellent working knowledge in PLC & HMI programming using ST and ladder logic. Should be experienced in interfacing with different modules using MODBUS, FIELDBUS, CAN, Ethernet and serial communications. Have a good knowledge in programming and interfacing VFD\xe2\x80\x99s with PLC/ HMI.
Must be able to design new electronic devices and test the prototypes.
Must be able to design and verify electrical panels depending on the project requirement. Maintenance of pump systems is also required.
Product development is a part of this role which involves creating new products, product quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives, while identifying new opportunities within and beyond our existing categories.
Previous experience in the fountain and swimming pool industry is advantageous.

Knowledge:

Main duties:
- Identify technical solutions to given problems.
- Develop prototypes.
- Product development.
- Apply controlled performance tests of products analysing and documenting the data.
- Conduct applied research, studies and analyses.
- Improve production processes.
- Ensure a technology watch on tools.
- Create and update technical data documents.
- Maintain and repair fountain pump motors.
Specific skills:
- Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Possess scientific and technical knowledge related to the swimming pool and fountain industry.
- Be able to execute a project from A to Z while respecting previously set constraints (e.g. cost, materials, functionalities).
- Excellent knowledge of PLC & HMI programming using ST and ladder logic.
- Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design (AutoCAD) tools.
- Fluent in English.
- UAE Driving licence.
Knowledge:
- Production: Good knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Good knowledge of Codes, Legislation, Company standards and quality procedures.
- Good creative and innovative skills.
- Good team working skills.
- Experience in lighting systems and LEDs product design.
