As a Programme Manager, you will manage the development and execution of the assigned projects, achieving world-class levels of QHSE, business and manpower performance during all phases within budget, meeting stringent schedules, demonstrating innovation in technology definition, and coordinating complex interfaces.
  • Development of Projects, including contribution to successful project development within budget, preparing cost estimates, appraisals, and execution plans, evaluating business development opportunities, analyzing market strategies, and recommending equity investments in collaboration with senior management.
  • Effectively manage assigned projects, coordinating activities, monitoring progress, controlling expenditures, and assigning resources as necessary to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective execution while maintaining required standards and promptly addressing any issues.
  • Proactively communicate project delays to the executive team and stakeholders, identifying critical issues for resolution to ensure project completion remains on schedule; prepare comprehensive and timely weekly/monthly progress reports, as well as project performance updates, cost control, staffing, and program reports; actively participate in project steering committee reviews and attend high-level meetings with stakeholders when required.
  • Effectively manage relationships with service level providers to ensure the provision of high-quality and timely services aligned with service level agreements, while personally overseeing key negotiations with internal and external stakeholders as needed to secure favourable deals and agreements that protect Masdar\'s interests and fulfil its requirements and goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of adaptable work plans to meet evolving project needs and collaborate in creating project lessons learned to enhance risk management and mitigation efforts.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders and third-party service providers, ensuring smooth relationships with service level providers and adherence to relevant agreements; personally handle key negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to secure favourable deals in alignment with Masdar\'s best interests and goals. Continuously improve policies, systems, and processes to meet procedural and legislative requirements while supporting the overall strategy. Fulfil project governance and reporting responsibilities by completing comprehensive, accurate, and timely reports in compliance with department policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical engineering and/or economics, science, engineering or equivalent.
  • PMI / PMP certification desirable.
Preferred Experience:
  • 6-8 years of project management experience with exposure to global scale and complex energy, technology and utility projects in large multi-national companies or an equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of utility in UAE and the international energy sector.
