Job Description

We are seeking a Program Officer to join our team and lead the launch and day-to-day management of country programs, ensuring effective implementation and oversight.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and launch of new country programs and multi-country initiatives.
• Coordinate program work plans, monitor milestones, and ensure targets are achieved.
• Manage resources and oversee program budgets, ensuring alignment with financial systems.
• Conduct field visits to monitor program implementation and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with partner organizations, M&E specialists, and stakeholders to identify challenges and innovative solutions.
• Prepare and submit program progress reports, providing insights on activities, risks, and expenditures.
• Act as focal point for global networks, attending meetings and sharing learnings with the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Nutrition, Economics, Social Science, or related development field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in program management and monitoring & evaluation, preferably in development contexts.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, audit follow-up, and compliance reporting.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with implementers, donors, and government counterparts.
• High analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to operate independently in complex, dynamic environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
