We are currently looking for a Program Manager (PM) to shape the future of our Value Added Services businesses in MENA. The PM role offers the unique opportunity to influence a sizable portion of the business while also driving large scale, high visibility projects across different Amazon teams.
The successful candidate will be a strong project manager with deep analytical abilities, and will ideally over-index in ownership, bias for action, deep dive, invent and simplify, and deliver results leadership competencies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and possess a passion for retail, a high level of flexibility, and ability to prioritize.
The breadth and depth of experience gained in this role will equip the candidate to rotate into other roles across Amazon on their path to become among Amazon future leaders.Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will have several key responsibilities:
- Technical project management: Automate and scale the program growth via new selection, product coverage and service quality.
- Maintain program\'s on-going reviews: own program\'s weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews via establishing a tracking mechanism to enable the team to track their progress while recommend best track of action to grow/recover.
- Define and build the program\'s growth: Identify key business opportunities and building blocks to grow the program.The successful Program Manager must be able to:
Act as the \'business owner\' for their business growth programs, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the business, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects to achieve business objectives)
- Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience
- Create business programs and initiatives for new opportunities owning the development and execution
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate internally and externally, while meeting tight deadlines for high visibility projects.
- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenues targets.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Dubai, AREBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of program or project management experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
