What this job involves:

\xef\x82\xb7 Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, revenue recognition, cash collection, cash management and capital expenditure
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage in/outsourced functions where appropriate
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare and publish timely monthly financial results / board packs
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting including the preparation of statutory accounts
\xef\x82\xb7 Research technical accounting issues for compliance
\xef\x82\xb7 Support month-end and year-end close process including reconciliations
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage and comply with local reporting requirements and tax filings where applicable, as well as SOX compliance.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
\xef\x82\xb7 Undertake financial analysis to support decision making
\xef\x82\xb7 Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
