Role Summary

The Production Technologist will develop, maintain, and optimize integrated production models connecting reservoir, wellbore, and surface network systems. The role provides technical insights to maximize field production and support field development decisions using advanced engineering software.

Key Responsibilities

Build, update, and maintain Integrated Asset Models (IAM) using the Petex IPM suite (MBAL, PROSPER, GAP, RESOLVE). Conduct production forecasting, nodal analysis, sensitivity studies, and material balance calculations. Recommend optimization actions across wells, artificial lift systems, stimulation, and surface network debottlenecking. Ensure alignment of models with real production data through continuous history matching. Collaborate with reservoir engineers, production engineers, and facilities teams to integrate modeling outcomes into operational plans. Support digital oilfield initiatives, real-time surveillance, and performance monitoring systems. Participate in technical studies, reviews, and field development planning activities. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Technologist with strong modeling expertise. Advanced proficiency in Petex tools (MBAL, PROSPER, GAP, PVTP, RESOLVE). Solid understanding of reservoir engineering, well performance, and production operations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with digital oilfield and real-time optimization tools is preferred.
