:
Purpose: Technician - the role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner. Follow instructions, work with other departments, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed. Responsible to set up, calibrate, and operate pharmaceutical packaging machines and equipment, handle minor repair and maintenance on machines as well. The technician is responsible for repackaging all unit dose medication as required. This includes oral solids repackaging into singlets for robot and non-robot equipment, manual and automatic liquid filling into cups, vials, and syringes, powder dispense and packaging, and overwrapping as specified. This position is responsible to maintain the packaging equipment for daily use, including cleaning and general equipment troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities & Accountability: Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform operations related to any assigned area as per the packaging plan and as per the SOP & instruction of Shift-In-Charge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to operate and clean the equipment, instrument or accessories used during the routine packaging activities as per the SOP. \xe2\x80\xa2 Record the data of cleaning, operations and related works in the respective logs in a timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Set up, calibrate and operate pharmaceutical packaging machinery at the beginning of each shift, ensuring that any issues are communicated to the supervisor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the entry of raw materials into the packaging machine, and ensure that dials are properly regulated. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle label generation activities, ensuring that the right labels are affixed on each packaged item. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform all unit dose medication packaging according to working control form \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain supplies needed in work station to fulfill services on working control form \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs daily maintenance and necessary adjustments on the packager equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Generate accurate packaging labels and conform to requirements regarding verification procedures as specified in standard operating procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot line stoppage, aimed at ensuring that downtime is minimized. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle and oversee inventory of supplies and materials required for packaging purposes, and ensure that low stock situations are communicated to the supervisor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on packaging machines, and communicate repair needs or damages to the supervisor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and maintain logs and correlating documentation, and ensure that any incorrect information is highlighted and reported. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in other unit operations as and when required or as instructed by the section head. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain hygiene & GMP standards in the area. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform operations according to the (MFM/MPI) under supervision of supervisor/line boss. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain all related logbooks and records. \xe2\x80\xa2 Report any deviation to line Manager \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate machine problem with senior machine operator and work in co-ordination with maintenance department. Qualifications:
- Education ? Higher Secondary certificate/Diploma in similar field.
