Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Production Supervisor

to manage and oversee all production activities in our

furniture manufacturing factory

in Umm Al Quwain. The role involves handling the complete production cycle -- from

job orders and planning to manufacturing, finishing, and final order fulfillment

.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in furniture production, excellent team leadership skills, and the ability to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage production operations from

job order receipt to final delivery

Plan and schedule daily and weekly production activities Coordinate carpentry, polishing, upholstery, painting, and assembly sections Ensure materials, manpower, and machines are available as per job requirements Supervise factory staff and assign tasks based on priorities Monitor production progress and ensure deadlines are met Maintain quality control standards for all furniture products Coordinate with sales/admin team regarding job status and delivery timelines Ensure proper handling of custom furniture orders Control wastage and improve production efficiency Ensure workplace safety and compliance with factory rules Assist with inventory planning and material tracking Train workers and improve team productivity

Requirements

Minimum

3-5 years experience

as a Production Supervisor in a

furniture factory

Strong knowledge of

woodworking, furniture manufacturing, and finishing processes

Experience handling

custom and bulk furniture orders

Ability to manage labor and production schedules effectively Good communication and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Basic computer knowledge (job tracking, Excel, or ERP systems) Experience working in the UAE is preferred

Preferred Skills

Experience with

custom-made furniture

Knowledge of raw materials (wood, MDF, veneer, hardware, fittings) Problem-solving and decision-making ability Multilingual (English required; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus)
