The Production Supervisor will oversee the signage production unit, ensuring fabrication, printing, and assembly processes are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with client requirements. The role involves managing workers, allocating tasks, monitoring quality, and coordinating with design and project teams for timely delivery of signage products.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily production activities in the signage workshop (fabrication, printing, acrylic, metal, LED installation, assembly).
Allocate jobs to workers and technicians based on production schedule and skill set.
Monitor quality at every stage--cutting, welding, painting, printing, fixing, and assembly--to ensure compliance with client specifications.
Coordinate with the design and project management teams to ensure technical drawings and specifications are correctly executed.
Ensure availability of materials, tools, and machines for smooth workflow.
Maintain production records (job status, manpower allocation, material usage, delivery timeline).
Enforce safety standards and good housekeeping practices in the production area.
Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and performance monitoring of staff.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to machines, materials, or signage fabrication.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
Minimum
5 -7 years of supervisory experience
in signage production or a related fabrication industry.
Strong knowledge of signage materials (acrylic, ACP, vinyl, LED modules, steel, aluminum, paints).
Hands-on experience with signage production processes: laser cutting, CNC routing, bending, welding, printing, and finishing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/shop drawings.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, ERP knowledge is a plus).
UAE signage industry experience preferred.
