production engineer, supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production schedules.

Ensure batch manufacturing is executed according to approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR/BPR).

Coordinate with Planning, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Warehouse to ensure material and equipment readiness.

Monitor production performance indicators (OEE, yields, downtime) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Lead, mentor, and evaluate production operators and technicians.

Conduct training on processes, safety, hygiene, and SOP updates.

Manage staffing and shift allocations to ensure adequate coverage.

Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of production equipment.

Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Support process validation, equipment qualification, and technology transfer activities.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:


Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field. 3-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (tablets, capsules, oral liquids, etc.). Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, regulatory guidelines, and pharmaceutical production processes. Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment. Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
