Production Supervisor

Overall Mission

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of Labours, managing day-to-day Production tasks, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality wood-based structures for events, exhibitions, and installations

Education :

ITI training or Certificate or Diploma

Experience

: All candidates must have experience in UAE, ERP System, Events & Exhibition Industry

Qualification:

Previous work experience in Production department and Exhibition Industry.

Production Manager

: Key Responsibilities:



Morning:

Review Production Plans:



Begin the day by reviewing production schedules and plans. Prioritize tasks for the day based on production targets and deadlines.

Coordinate with Departments:



Communicate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to align production plans with overall company objectives. Ensure coordination for smooth workflow and resource availability.

Daily Work Logs:



Purpose

: To track the daily progress of Production tasks, labour hours, and any issues encountered on-site.

Content:



Date of work

Number of Labours working and their hours - TIMESHEETS



Detailed description of work completed (e.g., custom furniture, stages, booths)

Materials used (with quantities)

Tools and equipment required

Any issues faced (e.g., delays, material shortages, safety concerns)

Worksite conditions (weather, access, safety concerns)

Supervisory notes and observations for

Performance Evaluation of WORKERS



Prepare Production Plans:



Develop and implement daily and weekly production plans to ensure timely completion of tasks with high-quality standards. Adjust plans as necessary based on any changes or new requirements.

Team Briefing:



Conduct a morning meeting with the production team to discuss priorities, goals, and updates. Address any concerns or issues raised by team members. Ensure everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities for the day.

Throughout the Day:

Resource Allocation:



Allocate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to different production tasks. Ensure proper utilization of resources to meet production targets efficiently.

Monitor Production Processes:



Continuously monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency. Address any deviations or issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Provide periodic updates on production progress to relevant stakeholders.

Quality Control:



Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.

Inventory Management:



Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to replenish inventory as needed.

Communication and Coordination

:

Team Supervision:



Supervise production team members, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Foster a positive and productive work environment to maximize team performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:



Collaborate with other departments such as operations, maintenance, and engineering, to coordinate production activities and address any issues or feedback.

Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement:

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:



Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing practices or automation to enhance productivity and quality.

End of Day:

Performance Tracking:



Track production performance metrics such as output, efficiency, downtime, and quality. Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Reporting:



Prepare daily production reports summarizing key performance indicators, production activities, and any notable developments. Communicate production status and performance to senior management.

Team Debriefing:



Conduct a debriefing session with the production team to review the day's performance, successes, challenges, and areas for improvement. Encourage feedback and suggestions from team members to foster continuous improvement.

Planning for the Next Day:



Review production schedules for the next day and make any necessary adjustments. Ensure all necessary preparations are made to facilitate a smooth start to production activities.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
